Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X PMIIA 5<\/div>\n<p>SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan non tes (angket aktivitas belajar dan observasi). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dari 76,78% pada siklus I menjadi 81,78% pada siklus II. Melalui pembelajaran yang sama, kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada pembelajaran kimia juga mengalami peningkatan. This research is a Classroom Action Research consist of two cycle, with each cycle concist of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were the student of Class X science of SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, amount to 32 students. The data source from teachers and students. Data collection were obtained throught problem solving test and nontest (questionnaire and observation). The data were analyzed using technique of qualitative descriptive analysis. The research\u2019s results showed that cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray can improve activity of student learning from 76,78%  in cycle I to 81,78% in cycle II.
