Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA-7 di SMA N 2 Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh dari data nilai LKS dan tes evaluasi di akhir siklus. Sedangkan sikap ilmiah diperoleh dari data observasi yang dilakukan oleh guru saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Pada siklus I semua indikator berpikir kritis telah mencapai target dengan rata-rata presentase indikator berpikir siswa sebesar 81,83% sedangkan pada siklus II persentase indikator berpikir siswa meningkat menjadi 88,76%. Selain itu, sikap ilmiah siswa juga meningkat yang ditunjukkan presentase sikap ilmiah pada siklus I siswa sebesar 64,46% sedangkan pada siklus II presentase sikap ilmiah siswa meningkat menjadi 92,33% dan semua indikator telah mencapai target.
