Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdapat 4  tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan kajian dokumen. Penelitan ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deksriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada aspek 1) memfokuskan pertanyaan mengalami peningkatan dari 1,82 menjadi 2,23 dan 2,68 pada siklus III; 2) menganalisis argumen mengalami peningkatan dari 2,36 menjadi 2,41 dan 2,86 pada siklus III; 3) Mengobservasi dan mempertimbangkan laporan hasil observasi mengalami peningkatan 1,95 menjadi 2,73 dan 2,77 pada siklus III; 4) Membuat dan menentukan hasil pertimbangan mengalami peningkatan 1,64 menjadi 2,36 dan 3 pada siklus III; 5) memberikan penjelasan lanjut mengalami peningkatan dari 3,09 menjadi 3,45 dan 3,5 pada siklus III; 6) Menentukan suatu tindakan mengalami peningkatan dari 2,32 menjadi 2,82 dan 3,36 pada siklus III. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Wates tahun pelajaran 2017-2018.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Kata Kunci : Discovery Learning, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<b>APLICATION OF LEARNING DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL ON<\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<b>CHEMISTRY LEARNING TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINGKING SKILL <\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<b>CLASS XI SMA NEGERI 1 WATES IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-2018<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\nAbstract<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe aims of this research were improve students&#8217; critical thinking skills in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Wates on academic year 2017-2018 on chemistry learning through application of learning Discovery Learning model. This research was a classroom action research which was held in three cycles. That each cycle consist of four steps, there were, planning, acting, observing and evaluating, and reflecting. The data was obtained by interviewing, observing and document investigation. This data were analyzed using technique of qualitative descriptive data. The results of this research showed that the application of learning Discovery Learning model could improve students&#8217; critical thinking skill.
